On a heart-led mission to build trauma informed workplaces that empower creativity and innovation for people, businesses and communities to thrive.

I’m a retired Deputy Chief from a mid-sized police agency, with 20 years in leadership and a Master’s in Human Resource Management. I've spent the last 8 years working in the non-profit sector with trafficked women and men. I’ve seen first hand the negative impact that certain leadership, personnel practices and policies can have on a highly traumatized workforce, and how hard it is for trauma survivors to get and keep employment. We are living in a highly distressed society in this post-pandemic world and both our workforce and businesses are suffering. John F. Kennedy once said, “The rising tide lifts all boats.” I believe that our local businesses can elevate, inspire and transform our communities while bringing balance, normalcy and hope to its people.
But it’s an inside job.
My passion is to see victims of human trafficking and trauma find meaning and purpose in life, while helping businesses unleash the creativity and innovation of a workforce that feels empowered. I believe that together, we can engineer a workplace culture where you reduce your costs related to hiring, turnover, and training, while simultaneously helping trauma survivors find their place in the world of work.

One person can move a pebble, but it takes many to move mountains. It begins with your yes.
